Nigerian Footballer Enrols 90 Students In School To Lessen Out Of School Students

A former player of the Nasarawa United, Sunusi Ibrahim, has reportedly enrolled ninety indigent students in school in a bid to reduce out-of-school students in the Northern part of Nigeria.

The ninety students enrolled on the scholarship sponsored by Sunusi Ibrahim were drawn from the Keffi Local Government Area of the state.

Sunusi Ibrahim launched the Si14 Foundation to help poor students in the state get quality education.

The registered students from indigent families in the state were also provided with school bags and writing materials among others worth thousands of naira.

Sunusi Ibrahim currently plays as a Forward for CF Montréal, a Canadian professional soccer club that competes in Major League Soccer in the Eastern Conference.

Sunusi's foundation, Si14, is aimed at helping indigent families in Nasarawa State.
