Hajara Ibrahim
A Nigerian young star, Hajara Ibrahim, has been declared winner of the World Qur'anic Competition, 2024 Edition, Organized In Jordan.

Hajara Ibrahim emerged first in the female category of the Qur'anic Competition involving representatives of many countries across the world.

Although the news of the victory recorded by Hajara in the competition is celebrated by Nigerians, her ethnic group is causing silent uproars.

Amidst the celebration of Hajara's wonderful performance, some Nigerians claim their "own" daughter, referring to Hajara winning the World Qur'anic Competition with diversity in ethnic claims.

While some groups of people celebrating Hajara's distinct performance claim she hails from Gombe, many others insist she hails from the Nupe ethnic group of Kwara State.

This is not the first time Nigeria would be leading the world in Qur'anic Competition as Maimuna Hussaini Badeggi recently represented Nigeria at the Islamic Republic of IRAN International Qur'an Competition.

She emerged in 2nd Position, recently, in the Female Category of the 40th International Qur'an Competition IRAN.
