Netizens Troll Wife of the Vice President Over Expensive Public Outfits

Ghana news presidential election
Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice-President of Ghana
Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice-President of Ghana has been trolled by Ghanian over her recent calls for citizens to cast their votes for her husband, Dr. Mahmud Bawumia, Mrs. Bawumia claimed her husband is the finest man for Ghanaian presidential seat at this time.

Samira Bawumia was also condemned, recently, for running an antagonistic political campaign against another presidential contender, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, who is positioned to be the major threat to her husband’s presidential bid.

Not long ago, Mrs. Bawumia came under attack from her fellow Ghanaians who see the woman as a threat to the future and treasury of the country, if her husband, Dr. Bawumia is elected as the president of the country. They resorted to this assertion because of Mrs. Bawumia’s affection for expensive bags. She has been sighted in public rocking with the £9,157 worth Hermes Kelly 53 Togo Taupe Purse. She also owns £1,274 worth of Valentino Garavani bad; $7,400 worth of Anel Purse and a £4,086 Chanel Trendy bag.

Fearing Mrs. Bawumia’s taste for expensive bags, many Ghanaians are confused that if her husband is elected President of Ghana, he might end up spending the country’s public fund to buy bags for his wife, Samira Bawumia. Reacting to Mrs. Bawumia’s expensive lifestyle, some Ghanaians took their agitations online, telling Samira Bawumia “We will not vote for your husband.”

The presidential primary election of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) which Dr. Bawumia is contesting has been scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023. The National Chairman of the party, Professor Aaron Mike Oquoye has therefore informed the public that the party has handed over security matters concerning the election to the Police.

Amidst the agitation, some Ghanaians stood their ground on voting for Dr. Bawumia as the next president of the country. They argued that Mrs. Bawumia’s love for expensive bad was not influenced by her husband’s position as Vice-President of Ghana. They argued her husband was well-to-do and could pay for his wife’s bill before becoming vice president of the country. They, however, challenged their counterparts to reject those candidates, who drove to their villages, with expensive SUV cars including Porsche, Jaguar, and Rolls Royce, among other expensive cars.
