APC The All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday, Saturday, February 10th, 2024 issued a Certificate of Screening to all the 12 members of the party aspiring to pick the governorship ticket of the party ahead of the November 21, 2024 governorship election in the state.
Ahead of the Edo APC Governorship Primary slated for February 17th, the party had mandated all the aspirants to avail themselves for screening between Thursday, February 8th, and Friday, February 10th.
The exercise which started late Friday was adjudged successful as all aspirants turned up, physically, for the screening.
Unlike what occurred during the Edo Governorship Election where an aspirant and incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki was disqualified for Certificate Forgery, all the 12 aspirants who purchased Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the Governorship ticket of the party were successfully screened and cleared by the party.
The 12 successfully screened and cleared APC governorship aspirants in Edo State who will be vying for the Governorship ticket of the party in the February 17th primary of the Party are:
1. Prince Clem Agba
2. Senator Monday Okpebholo
3. Lucky Imasuen
4. Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri
5. Pastor Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu
6. Engr. Gideon Ikhine
7. Col. David Imuse (Rtd.)
8. Gen. Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere (Rtd.)
9. Prof. (Sen.) Oserheimen Osunbor
10. Blessing Agbomhere
11. Hon Dennis Idahosa and
12. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe.
