Staff and students on the campus of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State were thrown into a miserable state on Friday as the lifeless body of one of the students of the institution was discovered at a motor park on the campus.
The lifeless body of the 300-level Accounting student, identified as Onisowurun Nduoma was discovered at the Delta Taxi Park on the University campus, today, a source revealed to The Round Table.
Our source stated that "A 300-level Accounting student, Egba Onisowurun Nduoma, staying in Mandela Hostel Block B room 201 was found dead at the Delta Park bus/taxi park on Friday.
His remains have been deposited in the morgue.
Even though as of the time of filing this report, no cause has been related to his miserable death, the school management and the Nigeria police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
"The Nigeria Police Force and the University of Port Harcourt Management have promised to get to the root of what caused the student’s death," our source stated.
Campus killing is on the increase recently as The Round Table, a few days ago, reported the death of an Abia State University fresh graduate by some suspected cultists.
