Mele Kolo Kyari Following the suspension of the
Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele a lot of Nigerians have listed others who served with former President Muhammadu Buhari that deserve to be suspended or sacked by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
One of the public office holders that people are demanding for their suspension is the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporate Limited, Mele Kolo Kyari. Hence, the reason the news flying around that Mr. Kyari has been suspended indefinitely by the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Majorly, Nigerians do not want the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to work with some public Office holders who held strategic positions during the administration of Muhammadu Buhari, and the decision make by their agency could be linked to hardship inflicted on Nigerians during the past administration.
Recall that oil scarcity was one of the major hardships that were deployed as political tactics during the last general election, and Nigerians are resolute in asking the incumbent administration to deal with everyone who used the public office he/she holds to pursue political ambition.
The fact is that there is no any official statement from the Office of the President, and there is no indication yet from the insiders that has pointed to the purported suspension of Mele Kyari.
As of now, Mele Kyari is still the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited. He is yet to be suspended but it does not mean he cannot be suspended.
