Daniel Bamidele A 21-year-old student of the best state University in Nigeria, the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho in Oyo State has reportedly attacked his parents with a machete in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The 200L student of LAUTECH who was identified as Daniel Bamidele was said to have atta led his parents after a fortune voodoo given to him by a white garment church Pastor Mathew.
Daniel revealed that his parents were aware of his involvement in the internet fraudulent activity popularly called Yahoo-Yahoo, and he has built a three-bedroom bungalow with proceedings ge acquired from the illegal activity.
He also stated further that he had planned to open a shop and stock it with goods for his mother if he hit the jackpot in his illicit venture but he was disappointed when he discovered that his mother and his elder brother, who he had used as his next of kin in the bank, duped him of N2.5 million.
Although Daniel did not disclose the purpose for which his mother and elder brother duped him to the tune of N2.5 million, he stated that he decided to attack his mother when he later discovered that his mother gave him a fake name which he needed to complete a fortune voodoo given to him by one Pastor Mathew of a White Garment Church in Ogbomosho, where he schools.
Daniel said he deliberately lured his mother from a church program she was attending to home where he attacked her with a machete. He also confessed that he attacked his father with a machete leaving cuts on the bodies of his parents because if he had not attacked two of them they would have been successful in overpowering him and he might have been killed.
After his mother escaped to send an alarm of calamity to their neighbors which led to intervention from passersby who assisted the family in taming Daniel and disarming him until the arrival of the Police, Daniel told the Police, “I purposely lured my mother from a church program she was attending, and as soon as we arrived home, I attacked her with a knife and was already inflicting cuts on her body when my father tried to save her from me.
“I attacked my father too because if I had not stabbed both of them, they would have succeeded in killing me.”
“I am a 200-level student of LAUTECH and I have built a three-bedroom bungalow from the money I made from doing yahoo business. I am angry with my parents, particularly my mother, for giving me a fake name instead of her real name.
“There is a particular black magic soap that I have been using lately. The soap was given to me by the priest of a white garment church named Mathew.
“I was the one who bought a generator for Pastor Mathew’s church around Ona Grammar School in Ogbomosho.
“The soap was meant to bring me good fortune, but there was the need for me to call my mother’s name into it before it could work.
“My mother told me that her name is Titilayo. But when I called the name into the soap, it did not work. Hence, I got angry and decided to stab her.
