Surulere Lagos An agent of the Labour Party was caught red-handed in Lagos State, today, attempting to buy login codes to the Bimodal Voters Accreditation and Verification machine in Lagos.
The man was caught in a Hunda jeep with registration number BDG 979 DB, attempting to buy the BVAS codes in the Surulere area of Lagos State.
An attempt by the suspects to buy the BVAS login codes was rebuffed by the vigilant electorates who confronted them and demanded their identity cards to verify if they come from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The suspects have approached the electoral officers deployed to the affected polling unit, demanding the login codes to their BVAS machines, with the claim that they are monitors from the INEC.
After they were forced to present their identity cards, they later doomed off with their car after they have an identity card to one of the chanting crowd.
The presented identity card showed that they are members of the Labour Party in the state.
