Kano Gov Abba Marks Other Set of Multimillion Naira Investments for Demolition

The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf has marked another property worth hundreds of million naira for demolition.

Recall that Governor Abba Yusuf's administration has demolished many properties directly erected or facilitated by the administration of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje since he was inaugurated on May 29th.

The new set of properties marked for demolition by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf include Petroleum stations, gas plants, standard shopping mall, among other investments worth hundreds of million of naira.

Governor Abba Yusuf stated that the investment was sited on plots of land with faulty allocation. The plots of land were allocated to the investors by the administration of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

Another source revealed that Governor Abba Yusuf decided to demolish the property because the owner of the investment is traceable to the relatives of the immediate past Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

In a related story, the Kano State Government under the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has decided to rebuild the recently demolished roundabout in the city. The administration of Governor Yusuf destroyed the roundabout because it contained a big cross that was said to be known to the Christians. Although another government source, then claimed that the roundabout was demolished because it obstructs views.
