Pro-Wike Lawmakers Acquire Court Order To Impeach Gov Fubara

Rivers State House of Assembly members loyal to the former Governor of the State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, have allegedly acquired a Court Order to commence the impeachment process of the embattled Governor of the State, Siminalayi Fubara.

The court order which was alleged to have been granted by one Justice Donatus Okorowo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, will be delivered to Rivers State House of Assembly members on Monday, December 18, 2023.

The leaked "court order", as published by Politics Nigeria, was allegedly granted following an application by 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly who are loyal to former Governor Nyesom Wike.

This has given a new dimension to the political development in Rivers State.
