IBEDC The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has raised notice of a power outage for some of its customer base areas in the Kwara region.

Giving reasons for the power outage in its Kwara region customer base, ÍBEDC related the power outage to repair works currently ongoing at its Gambari and Sobi Barracks substations.
The power distribution company said there are faults with its 33Kv feeders in Gambari; Sobi Barracks and Sobi Specialist 11kv feeders in the Kwara region of its distribution map.
IBEDC mentioned areas that would be affected by the repair works to include Apalara, Oko-fomoh, Madi, Oloje Housing Estate, Gbaako, Oko Olowo, and Sobi Barracks.
Other areas are Gambari, Okelele, Sefura, Kankatu, Sobi mountain (Oke Sobi) and its environs.
Although the power distribution company did not give an insight into how long the repair work may take, it apologized to its customers and promised to get the power supply back to their homes as soon as possible.
Reacting to the notice of a power outage raised by the IBEDC for the Kwara Region, some Nigerians are asking all the power distribution companies in Nigeria why there is currently an epileptic power supply to their homes and places of work, these days.
