WhatsApp In the past, message on WhatsApp is a read-only text by the two parties involve in a chatting conversation. WhatsApp Message is a read-only with no write permission to either of the users in a conversation because neither the sender nor the recipient has write permission to edit a submitted WhatsApp Message. However, you can delete and/or resend a correct version of a message which you have earlier submitted, whether it has been read or not by the recipient in the case of error.
Gratefully, there is now a means to edit your WhatsApp Message after it has been sent, regardless of whether your recipient has read it or not.
To achieve this, you will have to update your WhatsApp application on your mobile phone to the latest version. You can do this, by going directly to the playstore, search for WhatsApp and click on Update button to easily get your WhatsApp updated to the latest version.
After doing this, nothing much is required, in the case you would want to edit a submitted WhatsApp Message either in a group, broadcast or private chat.
All you will to do is to highlight the message you will want to Edit and click on the three vertical dots at the Upper right corner of the WhatsApp header; you will see options in a drop-down; choose edit and edit your message. Then, click the mark button to resubmit your edited message.
