Candidates who sat for the 2024 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (Internal) can now check their results as the examination body released the results for public access.

Students who sat for the examination have been encouraged to proceed to the results portal to check their results.

A tweet published by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) on Monday, disclosed that the results of the candidates who sat for the exam have been released.

In the tweet it was stated that results of 215,267 candidates were withheld, representing 11.9% of the students who sat for the exams.

The tweet reads The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for school candidates, 2024 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, 12th August 2024.

There are two means of checking the 2024 WAEC results. Students can check their results via SMS and on the result portal of WAEC. Here, you will learn how to check your WAEC results on both SMS and Results Portal.

4. Wait for a response as ⁠you will receive a message instantly containing your WAEC statement of result.

It is important to note that this method is available only to MTN, Glo & Airtel Subscribers and there must be enough airtime on your SIM card.

To check your WAEC Result via the results portal, kindly open your browser either on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer, visit www.waecdirect.org, and log in.

3. Select Examination Type e.g May/June

4. Select the Exams Year e.g 2024
