Governor Nasiru Idris Kebbi State Governor, Nasiru Idris, has relieved one of his cabinet members, Babangida Isa Fada Sarki, over WhatsApp status. Until yesterday when he was shown the exit door from Governor Nasiru Idris' administration in Kebbi State, Babangida Sarki was the Special Adviser on Youths to the Governor.
The retrenchment of Babangida was contained in a press release by the Governor's Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris who stated that the governor decided because of Babangida's indecent WhatsApp Status which went against Islamic jurisdiction.
“The governor, who was enraged by the obnoxious development said the aide trampled on the moral and social ethos of the Kebbi society, which is largely Islamic.
“Idris promised that his administration would not condone any of such acts that denigrate the morality and integrity of the people of the state,” he said.
Babangida was said to have posted p0rn0graph!c video content on his WhatsApp Status which went against Islamic morals. The Governor, therefore, warned other public officers to stop conducting the bad act as his administration will not condone such acts.
