Babajide Sanwo-Olu Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has identified with Nigerian musicians including David Adeleke who is popularly known as Davido who lost all their nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards, early today.
Davido lost all his three nominations, Burna Bit lost four while Ayra Starr, Asake, Tems, Olamide, and all Nigerian talents represented as nominees at the Grammy's, the apex music award in the world also lost their nominations at the global Awards gathering.
This is a rare development in recent times as Nigerian musicians have been dominating the award for years.
This has generated reactions from Nigerians who suspected unfair play in the 2024 edition of the awards.
Joining the development, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos who houses the Nigerian entertainment industry, encouraged the musicians to be up and never allow themselves to be disrupted. He said their victories are near.
