Gov Fubara Approves N100k per Worker in Rivers As Christmas Bonus

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) as a Christmas Bonus for all the government workers in Rivers State.

The approval of the 100,000 naira Christmas Bonus for the Rivers State workers was contained in a statement released, on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Warisenibo Joe Johnson.

Mr. Warisenibo stated that the bonus was approved to ensure the workers enjoyed their festive period.

The statement reads, “Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has approved the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) as Christmas bonus for the State’s civil servants on the State payroll. Gov. Fubara approved on Tuesday for immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration".

The Christmas bonus will be paid directly to the salary accounts of the civil servants, actively serving in the Rivers State Civil Service, alongside their December Salaries.
