Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has vowed to reject any list of people he asked the Adamawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to generate for his cabinet set-up, if the source of the list failed to pass wide consultation test.
In the bid to set up his executive cabinet, Governor Fintiri had asked his party to recommend for him, names of fifteen to twenty party members from across the state that could be fixed into his cabinet.
The governor however warned the party that he would not entertain any list that is generated by a few number of party leaders from the comfort of their sitting room.
He said "I will not accept any mechanically fabricated list from stakeholders in Adamawa, who disregarded my earlier directives to present their best 15 to 20 for political appointment through proper consultations with their constituents.
"It is essential to ensure that everybody is carried along for a proper representation. Any list that does not meet the criteria or instructions I previously laid down will be rejected," the Governor reiterated.
There is an allegations that some leaders of the party in Adamawa State have compiled some names, immediately after the Governor gave the instructions at a PDP stakeholders meeting in Yola. The leaders were accused to have written the names without wide consultation.
