President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has successfully transmitted names of 47 Nigerians to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The names which were transmitted in two batches had the names of about 8 former governors, seven women and double nominations from some states. Eight states have double nominations while a single state received triple nominations. No Southeastern state received more than one nomination but Northwest received highest number of double nominations per state, with double nominations in three states.
