Former Tottenham, Inter and Bayern winger Perisic joins PSV as free agent
Former Tottenham, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich winger Ivan Perisic has joined Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
Croatia international Perisic, 35, was a free agent after leaving hometown club Hajduk Split following his move there from Tottenham in January.
The 2018 World Cup finalist had joined Split permanently in the summer after an initial loan but his contract was terminated by mutual consent in August.
Perisic told the club website: “Since I have been a free agent, I have been waiting for an option like this: a club and environment where I feel comfortable and where I can win prizes.
“I asked my former teammate Denzel Dumfries for advice, and that has only convinced me that PSV is the right step. I can’t wait to get started, give it my all and win prizes.”

Perisic has recieved backlash from Split fans who have accused the experienced midfielder of using the Crotian side as a means of rehabilitating himself for Euro 2024.
But in an emotional statement with Dalmatinski Portal, he said: “I came to Hajduk hoping we could achieve our dream together and win the title.
“I had a good contract at Tottenham, and even while injured, I received an excellent offer from a major foreign club where I would have had fantastic conditions for rehabilitation.”
Perisic has made over 600 appearances during a glittering career in football.

He won the Bundesliga with both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, also winning the Champions League with the latter as well as Serie A with Inter.
The 136-cap international spent two years in the Premier League with Tottenham, making 50 appearances.
