Osborn La Palm Resort Osborn Nweze Umahi, son of the former Executive Governor of Ebonyi State and current Minister of Works, David Umahi, has opened a luxurious 5-star hotel and Resort, Osborn La Palm Resort, in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State.
Osborn Umahi who named the 5-star hotel after himself is claimed to be a successful entrepreneur, although some citizens argue this, attributing his wealth to the opportunity to access public funds allegedly created by his father since he has been in government.
Osborn Umahi who finished his University Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the prestigious University of Surrey in 2019, proceeded to pursue his Master's in Investment Management from Aberdeen University in 2022.
He was said to have worked with his dad, David Umahi, in managing Brass Oil and Construction Limited.
Since his luxurious 5-star Osborn La Palm Resort was launched in Port Harcourt, attention has shifted to the new hotel as prominent Nigerians turn the hotel into their new Jerusalem.
Among Nigerian social life rockers who have visited the hotel are Nigerian real estate billionaire and Chairman of Cubana Group Limited, Chief Dr. Obinna Iyiegbu who is popularly known as Obi Cubana; Chairman of Five Star Group Limited, Chief Emeka Okonkwo who is virally known as E-Money; CEO of Corporate World Entertainment; Comedian Ayo Makun, who is widely known as AY and African leading real estate magnate, Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, among others.
Osborn's successful launching of Osborn La Palm Resort is claimed to have qualified him as a successful entrepreneur in the hospitality industry.
