Thieves stole the gate of a graveyard in Katsina
The reason is still unknown as a developing story on social media platforms reports some thieves have stolen the gate of a graveyard in Katsina, the home state of the immediate former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

The graveyard which belongs to Muslims was fenced and gated to restrict movement in and out of the sleeping destination for dead people. Unfortunately, it was reported that on Christmas day some hoodlums who are yet to be identified broke into the graveyard and carted away with the iron gate of the graveyard, leaving the final destination of the dead persons opened.

Many Nigerians online have expressed mixed reactions to this development as the story broke to social media spaces including Facebook and Twitter.

Although the town where the incident occurred was not stated, a Nigerian took to his Twitter space to report the comic and unfortunate incident, writing "Thieves stole the gate of a graveyard in Katsinaā€¯

Pictures of the aftermath attack on the graveyard have littered the social media spaces but reports about whether the hoodlums touched the buried people, their graves, or any of the other components of the graveyard apart from the stolen gate are still sketchy for now.
