Household of David Church, Ikeja There is a fresh report of fire gutting a popular church known as Household of David Church located at Adeniyi Jones Street, Ikeja, Lagos State capital.
The church was reportedly gutted by fire on the morning of Wednesday, January 31st, 2024.
The incident was confirmed via a video clip of the burning church shared on X platform by one of the users, Oluwadamilola.
Speaking on the fire outbreak, the lead pastor of the church, Sola Osunmakinde, stated that everything in the church was burnt by the fire.
He said the church was preparing for its special program, Mercy Conference 2024 which commences today in the church.
Pastor Sola said he inspected the church in the morning ahead of the program and everything was fine until he later heard that fire had consumed the church.
He, however, thanked God that no life was lost in the fire incident.
He further revealed that the church is bold and good to proceed with its Mercy Conference 2024, as he claimed the church is not disturbed by the incident.
Expected at the church's Mercy Conference 2024 are ministers like Moses Bliss, and Dunsin Oyekan, and other pastors like Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor Yemi David, Pastor Godman Alabi, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, and others.
