Despite suspension by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, is reportedly in Asaba, Delta State capital ahead of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Governors' Forum Meeting.

According to the trending broadcast on the social media platforms, Fubara will be attending the meeting in full capacity as the Executive Governor of Rivers State despite his suspension.

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently suspended Rivers State Governor, Deputy Governor, and all the members of the state House of Assembly following rising political restiveness amidst power supremacy battle between the Governor and the House of Assembly members.
