Plateau Massacre
You must have heard about the Christmas Eve killing in Plateau State with media houses giving varying numbers of casualties and unspecified names and numbers of attacked communities.

Although reports are still developing from the attacked region, The Round Table has its hand on a confirmed Police report on the hilarious incident.

From the Police report, it was affirmed that 79 people have been killed and 15 communities were attacked by the unknown who are yet to be identified as either terrorists, bandits, or communal fighters. However, a reliable source informed The Round Table that the crisis is linkable to the Farmers-Herders clash which had been silently rocking the affected area over a long time.

The 15 communities that were attacked fell within two Local Government Areas which are Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi local government areas of Plateau State.

The Police report which was signed by the Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Alfred Alabo, stated that hundreds of houses across the 15 communities in the two Local Government Areas were wet ablaze by the hoodlums.

The police, specifically, reported that "221 houses were set ablaze, 27 motorcycles were burnt, eight vehicles were burnt down while 17 deaths were recorded in Barkin-ladi LGA alone. The account of the casualties and damage done in Bokkos Local Government Area is still scanty.

Names of all the 15 communities across the two affected Local Government Areas were given by the Police to include Ndun, Ngyong, Murfet, Makundary, Tamiso, Chiang, Tahore, Gawarba, Dares, Meyenga, Darwat, Butura Kampani, NTV, Hurum and Darawat.

Twelve (12) out of the 15 affected communities came under very heavy attacks and they include Ndun, Ngyong, Murfet, Makundary, Tamiso, Chiang, Tahore, Gawarba, Dares, Meyenga, Darwat, and Butura Kampani.
