Breaking: APC Expell Several Prominent Members Including Ex-Governor, Former Senate President

The former governor of Enugu State, Barr. Sullivan Chime has been expelled from the All Progressives Congress (APC). His expulsion from the party was among several members of the party who were shown the exit wing of the party.

According to an announcement by the Enugu State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Robert Ngwu, former Governor Chime was expelled from the party alongside several other members which include Director-General of Voice of Nigeria Mr. Osita Okechukwu, former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly Hon. Eugene Odo, Mr. Flavour Eze, Mr. Joe Mmamel, and Mr. Maduka Arum.

Also, according to the report of the disciplinary committee that was read by Mr. Ngwu, former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama were suspended from the party.

Mr. Ngwu stated that the suspected members of the party and those who were expelled were found guilty of anti-party activities, working against the interest of the party during the last general election.
