Sunday Igboho Leading agitator for Yoruba Nation, Sunday Igboho, has insisted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not responsible for the economic hardships hitting Nigeria, currently.
Igboho who has been in exile for more than a year recently returned to the country ahead of his mum's alleged burial ceremony.
Igboho lost his mum when he was in detention in Cote D'Ivoire after he was accused of illegally gaining entrance into the country.
Sunday Igboho ran away from Nigeria after his house in Ibadan was attacked by the military Men comprising the army, operatives of the Department of State Services, and police intelligence unit.
At the operation, some of Igboho's boys were killed, many arrested and some of them were declared wanted, including Igboho.
Igboho ran into trouble after his consistent call for secession, and the creation of a breakaway new Nigerian nation comprising Yoruba-speaking states alone, Oduduwa Republic.
On returning to the country, Sunday Igboho insisted the sudden rise in the prices of food items and other essential commodities in the market was not caused by President Bola Tinubu. He accused the immediate former President Muhammadu Buhari of causing all the problems before leaving the Office of the President.
He said, “Some people believe it is Tinubu that spoils the country; it is not Tinubu. When Buhari was in government, I was shouting for us (Yoruba) to be united and free ourselves from slavery, saying that Buhari did not have anything to offer us.
“Let’s free ourselves and divide Nigeria. Some people were saying it is what he will eat that he is looking for. Buhari handed over spoiled Nigeria to Tinubu. Tinubu spent six months in office; we are cursing him. What did he do?” Sunday Adeyemo(Igboho), Yoruba Nation agitator claimed in a recent statement.
