Ile-Ife-born former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the trending documentary released online on Monday, January 8th, 2023 where the late Nigerian televangelist Pastor, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua who is popularly known as TB Joshua was tied to a series of unfortunate allegations.

In a documentary released by the BBC, yesterday, the Late Prophet TB Joshua was accused of a series of illegal activities, when he was alive, including sexual abuse and physical abuse of church members; fabricated miracles, and trauma.

Reacting to the allegations, Femi Fani-Kayode, a close ally of the late prophet described the BBC documentary as a collection of dirty lies.

Fani-Kayode, who recognized the challenges faced by Prophet TB Joshua during his lifetime, especially in the course of liberating Christianity in the country, insisted that the legacy of the accused man of God could not be brought down by any media organization. He described Prophet TB Joshua as "a blessing to the Church, the Christian faith, humanity, and our beloved nation Nigeria.

Fani-Kayode wrote on his X timeline, “So true! You touched many lives, fought a good fight, stood till the end, and established a great and enduring legacy.

“No man or institution can destroy it with dirty lies: not even the BBC!

“Continue to rest in peace brother and thanks for being such a blessing to the Church, the Christian faith, humanity, and our beloved nation Nigeria.

“We are and shall always be very proud of you”.
