Presiding Pastor of the Salvation Ministry, Port Harcourt, Pastor David Ibiyeomi has vowed that anyone who misquotes whatever he says during his Church sermons will die before the end of 2024.
Pastor Ibiyeomi stated this in a viral video on social media platforms where he was preaching the message of the gospel.
Pastor Ibiyeomi vowed "Unless I'm not God-sent, anyone who misquotes me will not see the end of this year, 2024.
In the video clip, Pastor Ibiyeomi was encouraging Christians to face the purpose of their creation, which he claimed to be the marketing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He said, “As Christian servants of God, we are meant to market the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. So that souls within our neighborhood and in our places of work can be converted.
Threatening social media handlers who he said might be willing to misquote his messages, Pastor Ibiyeomi vowed "Social media listen to me; I never said to the market church, if you misquote me as I’m talking now, except God did not call me, if you see the end of this year, I’m not sent.
Warning further, Pastor Ibiyeomi disclosed that he has his means of discovering anyone who misquotes him, and he will not hesitate to banish that person if anyone dares him.
He said "Don’t misquote me because I will curse you and curse your generation. I’m not the kind of Pastor that will leave you, I will arrest you. Even if you hide under disguise I will find you out.”
Pastor Ibiyeomi's threatening statement has however generated mixed reactions as many Nigerians expressed their surprise at the utterances of the man of God.
