Another Commissioner serving in the administration of Rivers State Executive Governor Siminalayi Fubara has tendered his resignation letter from the state's Executive Cabinet Council.
The resignation by the Rivers State Commissioner for Environment, Austin Ben-Chioma, makes it the ninth member of the state Executive Council members who quit their appointment to serve under the embattled Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Although Austin Ben-Chioma cited personal reason for his resignation it is not unconnected to the political crisis between the Governor of the state, Siminalayi Fubara, and his erstwhile political godfather, Nyesom Wike.
Recall that the Round Table earlier reported Names of 8 out of 14 Rivers Commissioners Who Have Abandoned Fubara for Wike
