A Self-acclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile. Simon Ekpa, a legal practitioner in Finland has threatened the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo over an allegation that Nigeria's military has killed a minor in the state.
Simon Ekpa who has been controversial in social commentary against the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria alleged that “unconfirmed” information revealed that the Nigerian Army had killed a 3-year-old girl in Anambra State. Although he failed to give a reason why the governor of the state would take responsibility for the allegation, he threatened that if the information was confirmed to be true, Governor Soludo would pay for the attack.
“Another little girl of about 3yrs has just been killed by Nigerian terrorists @HQNigerianArmy [the recognized X handle of the Nigerian Army] in another part of Anambra. We are still gathering more information about the attack. If that is confirmed to be true, we will change it for @CCSoludo [the recognized X handle of Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State],” Simon Ekpa threatens from his Finnish hideout.
Although Simon Ekpa has been linked to various untruthful claims against the government if the allegation of [probably, accidental] killing of the 3-years-old minor is found to be true, it would be the second report of accidental killing by the Nigerian Army after an accidental bombing of a Muslim congregation in Tundun Beri village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State which took the lives of over 80 people on Sunday.
A military surveillance aircraft mistook the gathering of residents of the community for terrorists who had taken over the dominance of the village. An attempt to run down the terrorists triggered the military action where over 80 people were mistakenly killed in the operation.
