Nkechi Blessing Sunday resorted to social media to share her financial difficulties after attending the Lisabi film premiere.
She reported spending her life savings at the event, which took place Wednesday night.
In a light-hearted tone, she jokingly called out singer Johnson, announcing to him to avoid her now.
She also encouraged her followers to see Lisabi on Netflix and praised the film.
In other news, According to Punch News, Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, said that he spoke with controversial social media figure Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, over Bobrisky’s legal difficulties early this year.
Falz revealed that Bobrisky asked him for N3 million to secure a VIP section at the Correctional Centre.
This remark arrives after Falz’s legal team, Falana & Falanas Chambers, sent a letter to Martins Vincent Otse, alias VeryDarkMan, requesting a retraction of defamatory charges against him.
The letter addressed a social media post in which VeryDarkMan alleged that Falz colluded with Bobrisky to “pervert the lofty of justice” by financially assisting him in obtaining a favourable judicial result Dated September 26, 2024, the letter from Falz’s lawyer, Taiwo E. Olawanle, clarified the events.
It explained that while Bobrisky sought advice from Falz, the rapper declined any financial involvement, revealing it was unnecessary.
The letter detailed, “On May 4, 2024, Bobrisky contacted our client requesting a conversation. Out of goodwill, our client agreed, assuming Bobrisky might need legal guidance due to the charges against him. However, Bobrisky instead asked for N3 million to allegedly spend officials for inherit to a VIP section in the Correctional Centre.”
Falz’s legal team emphasised that the rapper did not accept any money, but Bobrisky insisted, blaming his legal team for encouraging him to plead guilty.
Falana and Falana Chambers sought an immediate retraction of the defamatory comments, as well as a public apology on all channels.
Failure to adhere within 24 hours would result in legal action, including a claim for damages to Falz’s reputation.
In a viral video, VeryDarkMan cited Bobrisky’s assertion that EFCC officials took N15 million to drop money laundering accusations. Bobrisky denies the charges, and EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede has launched a probe.
