Abuja is Not Port Harcourt, Atiku's Aide Hit Wike

Nyesom Wike
The spokesperson of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Committee of Campaign former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Daniel Bwala has hit Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike over his promise to keep Abuja clean and ensure the capital city is restructured to find a place for it among the finest cities in the world.

Nyesom Wike who vowed to destroy every illegally constructed structure, put an end to the use of motorcycles as a public transportation system in Abuja and reposition the looks and ornamental composition of the FCT was told by Bwala to reconfigure his thought.

Bwala alleged that Nyesom Wike "came with a bullish and vendetta spirit venting fire and brimstone about demolition and revocation of titles. He claimed that Wike should remember that he is no more a Chief Executive Officer of Rivers State, and whatever he does will have consequences on the credibility and acceptability of his principal, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Reacting to Wike's post-inauguration speech, Bwala stated that "Hello sir, in case you need a refresher course; the basic needs of the residents of the FCT are; affordable healthcare facilities; access to good education facilities, clean sports, and recreational centers, affordable transport services system, efficient and workable street light in the city Centre and the suburbs; and finally, security.

"You came with a bullish and vendetta spirit venting fire and brimstone about demolition and revocation of titles. Abuja is not Port Harcourt. If you create chaos in the city, you will jeopardize your principal's interests and he will be forced to sacrifice your job. You will learn humility on the job.

Even before Wike released the influencing statement, since he emerged as a ministerial nominee with a projection of his possibility to head the FCT Ministry, many people have suggested a possible demolition of Wadata Plaza, the National Headquarters of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), a gigantic building which obstructs traffic owing to its closeness to road.
