Photo Credit: Twitter After the processes of the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, the election which was held across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), odd occurred and the political dynamics in the country exemplified the achievement of tremendous democratic development in the country.
Rare in nature, the election left 20 State Governors losing the presidential election in their states to the opposition party in their respective state.
For the record, the Presidential election in Abia State is lost the to opposition party, Labour Patty, a state that has been under the control of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a very long time.
Likewise, Anambra State which is under the control of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) was won by the Labour Party while Benue State under the control of the PDP was won by the APC.
Cross River which is being ruled by the APC was delivered to the Labour Party, the same party that won in Delta State which is being run by the PDP.
APC lost Ebonyi State to the Labour Party, the same party that won in Edo and Enugu where PDP is a ruling party.
APC lost Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Lagos, Katsina, Nasarawa, and Yobe State to the opposition PDP and Plateau State to the Labour Party.
PDP also lose Oyo and Rivers States to the APC while the presidential election in Imo State was lost to the Labour Party.
